Many of us attend growing, life-giving churches that see God do the amazing! However, the state of the American Church is far worse than we have feared. We need SIX TIMES our Current U.S. church planting effort just to keep up with population growth. • Fewer than 20% of Americans attend church regularly & only 22% view church positively
• No state in the USA except Hawaii has seen positive net church growth in the last 20 years
• North America is the only continent on the planet where Christianity is not growing
• Half of the 300,000 churches in America did not add one new believer last year
• Every week, 43,000 Americans are leaving the church for good
• In the U.S. today, 75 churches close per week, only 25 open
